What this website collects about you

Nothing. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, no embedded social widget, no fonts loaded from anyone else’s server, and no form of any kind. This page explains that in full, including the one thing that is recorded and who records it.

The short version

This website does not ask you for information and does not store any. It sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. It sends nothing about you to any other company. There is no contact form, no message box, no newsletter sign-up and no login. You can read every page of this site without identifying yourself: the website asks for nothing and stores nothing. The standard server logs the hosting provider keeps are described below.

Why the site is built this way

This is a psychotherapy practice serving Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, DeafPlus and Late-Deafened people of color. On a practice organized around Deaf identity, race and mental health, the address of the page you are reading is itself sensitive information — the fact that a particular person looked at a page about therapy can matter a great deal to that person. The ordinary tools that measure website visitors work by sending that fact to a third company. This website uses none of them, so it has no count of how many people visited.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies at all — not for analytics, not for advertising, and not for preferences. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

The one thing that is recorded, and by whom

To send you a page at all, the company that hosts this website has to receive a request from your device. The hosting provider may keep technical records of those requests — an IP address, the browser and operating system that asked, the page requested, and the time. The website itself adds nothing to them and sends them nowhere.

What is not on this page, and where it lives instead

This is a privacy notice about a website. This page is not the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, and it does not describe how your care, your records or your sessions are handled. Nothing on this website collects, stores or displays health information.

Other companies

Your browser makes no request to any company other than the one hosting this site while you read it. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Google Fonts, no embedded video, no map, no chat widget and no social feed. The one typeface used for headings is served from this site’s own address, which is why no font company learns that you were here either.

Children

This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — which, on this site, is true of every visitor regardless of age, because it collects nothing from anybody.

What this page describes

This page describes the website as it is today: no contact form, no booking widget and no measurement tool of any kind.

Asking about any of this

Everything this website does with information is described above.

The practice’s direct contact details are not published on this site yet.

What access looks like — in sessions and on this website — is on the accessibility page. The practice itself is described on the about page, and the clinical services on the services page.
